FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Building Engineers at the intermediate level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the agri-food sector. The mandate is to manage the buildings and utilities of agri-food plants, including refrigeration and water treatment and to maintain sanitary integrity, plan improvement projects and ensure compliance with applicable codes and the SFCR.

• Manage the plant's buildings, mechanical systems and utilities.
• Ensure the performance of refrigeration, HVAC and water treatment systems.
• Maintain the sanitary integrity of facilities (floors, drains, surfaces).
• Plan renovation, expansion and code compliance upgrade projects.
• Manage subcontractors, maintenance contracts and budgets.
• Optimize energy and water consumption.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, the SFCR and environmental standards.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, building mechanics, electrical) or any other related discipline.
• Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
• Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Building Engineer.
• Sector standards: HACCP, SFCR (CFIA), SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000.
• Tools and systems: MS Office suite, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project.
• Hold one of the following certifications: LEED AP, ASHRAE.
• The following are considered assets: membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), PMP, Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP).
• Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
• Language: French and English
